I have a bunch of those items, but when i speak with Antone, he just says "You've returned" with that stupid voice and mentions nothing about the items i've got. Does that mean i have nothing he can make?

I haven't tried this myself, but try asking him about "Custom Items".

P.S. Have you asked him "How are you" yet? I love it!

Try giving him the items? I think I used the items on um or some such
havnt got all the ingredients yet so havent received the finished item...but it does log what I give him in my journal

I have also noticed something with camping and custom items. It seems that one way they keep track of time is how often you camp completely. Here is the experiment and my conclusion.

I had turned in the equipment for the staff and wondered around for days. I don't sleep much, relying on rest all spells and magic nector a lot. Anyway, several days later the staff was not done. I saved, camped and interupted the camp when it was almost done. Sure enough, the staff was not done. I camped again and again awoke everyone early. No staff. After doing this a couple of times, I went back to the save game and camped for the whole 8 hours. The staff was complete. I slept a lot less and spent less time, but because I did a full camp, I got the staff.

Wow! That's fascinating. I _rarely_ camp completely, relying on camping and interrupting repeatedly so that I'm not surprised by enemies.

I wonder what I've missed because of this...

I concur with Knarfling. Partial camping in Arnika while waiting on Antone is ineffective - it's gotta be all or nothing before he says he's done with your new whatever-it-is.
