Does anybody have any good tips to help me beat those demon-knight things in the Kuo-Toa dungeon? It's the place where you sacrifice an animal and the demon things materialize in. I just can't beat them!

My party consists of...

Me (Fighter) lvl 16
Anomen
Minsc
Jahiera
Imoen
Aerie

Thanks for the help.

Resist fear is helpful, since they cast symbol fear (or similar). Also haste or improved haste always go down a treat ;) They also cast power word kill, so keep people with low hit points at the back. I usually put everyone in the corridor and hurry the animal summoner back before the demon knights are summoned, so you only have to fight a couple at a time. Then I find ranged weapons are useful, probably +1 is enough. When the first couple are killed, you can move your party into the room a bit, and lure out the rest. Hope this helps

casting negative negative plane protection on your fighters would be a good point, and have summons distract them while you take them out by dividng them. Sometimes Disintegrate will work I think. Just make sure of the negative plane stuff really, all booster spells are good really.

If you're 15th level or above, Summon 5 skeletal Warriors, and place one at the place where each Knight appears, two for the head guy. Then, you and the NPC's can fight fires while the Skeletal Warriors do the spadework. Negative Plane Protection a must. Lower Resistance and Greater Malison good, too.

Yeah, these posts have most of it covered but it doesn't have to be that hard. Set up everybody with their ranged attack and go stand single file on the bridge outside that room. I set up the path with traps, but I am not sure with your NPC's. Summon some cannon fodder and partially block the end of the bridge and send one guy in with the boots of speed just to watch your sacrifice bite the dust. Run back behind the fodder, close the gap and start shooting.

Keep summoning creatures as they die and hit em with as many MelfsMM as you have. Only my first guy in line took any damage, so make it a fighter type

A few months back, a boardie said that Skeleton Warriors could not win against Demon Knights on Insane Difficulty, and I decided to try it out. I was playing with a Blade at that time, and when I reached the Demon Knight area I laid out my plans.

First I sent my Blade in to remove the fog of war and then retreated back outside. I summoned a spider and sent it to the altar, the spider naturally got sacrificed and I started summoning my Skeleton Warriors. The key to the victory was fighting the Demon Knights one by one.

PS: Skeleton Warriors are 95% Magic Resistant, immune to disease, poison, stun, psionics, fear, charm, normal weapons and have high physical damage resistances.
