Does the ability to mix potions/etc. depend solely on the Alchemy skill, or do you need a pure Alchemist to be able to do it? I.E., will my Ranger/Bishop/Ninja be able to mix potions once their skill is high enough?

I've made many a heavy heal potion with my Bishop (as it was the only recipe I could remember that I've seen), so it seems to be reliant soley on the alchemy skill, not your class.

Yes anybody with appropriate alchemy skill can mix potions, which is a huge advantage, because it improves the alchemy skill.

yes it does truely increase your alchemy skill and it seems to rely purely on the alchemy skill.
whereas the "making potion while resting" of the alchemist is nuts, mixing powerful potions kicks asses !

I could make a lot (i do mean *a lot*) of money mixing low cost potions and selling the expensive ones that resulted.
my main problems were :
- some potions were not sold in big quantities (which limits my production) -> i had to check out from shop to shop
- i had to wait to raise my artefact skill in order to identify the most powerful ones and them sell them at the high price
