i finished the gunnery, killed the dummies with Psionic Blast, only spell that reaches them, the umpani man talked to me an left the room but now i cannot enter der covert ops, the door is not open.
how do i open it ? where ist the umpani ? he wanted me to meet him there

I don't know if your not using the rocket launcher had anything to do with it but you may need one of the patches to get into Covert Ops now.

Hi Niob!

I just finished that part yesterday, and I DID use the rocket launcher. However, most of the dummies were finished by vi's triple shot crossbow, and the covert ops was open, so I think it doesn't have anything to do withit.Try this for a detailed walkthrough of that part. Hope that helps!

After the first game, I never bothered with that rocket launcher business. After Rubble gives his speech, we walk to the back room, take what we want, then hike over to covert ops. Never been a problem doing that.

thanks, but the guy is away and i used the launcher several times, but the dummies have too much HP to kill them without a spell in a short fight, but i tried it once only with the launcher...nothing happens..the door remains closed
i have that walktrough but it doesnt help the door should be open normally
anyway thanks a lot, i try again and again till i die!!!

There is my problem: There is no Rubble. He was never there. I can whack the dummies, but the remainig doors are sealed.

Hi Herbergsvater!

... and you're sure that you completed the quests before, and you were send by Sgt Ba*** (from the recruitment centre) into the caves for "more training"? After I was sent in and opened the gunnery doors, he stood right there...

Look into the patch in the above post.
They now have only the latest patch available but it will correct your problem.
