hi, i'm newbie here, i have searched the forum and could't find any post which has similar porblem :(

my problem is when i came back to Arnika, and i need some cash ,hehe.....

so i dismissed Vi and went to the maindoor of Arnika(Myles usually stays there), but i can't find him. i try to camp and stay outside of Arnika, but it seems i really lost this guy. only guards and member of brother walk around.

so anyone can tell what should i do?

Did you dismiss Myles when he has just leveled(e.g. with the cross symbol). There is currently a bug with the game that causes RPC dismissed in the "leveled" condition to disappear forever. The bug occured in the latest patch as well.

You can try to find a suitable saved game to reload. However, if you can't or don't wish to revert to an old saved game, you will just have to make do without him.

If you have any characters that can mixed potion (alchemy skill), you can mix lower grade potions to form higher grade potions which can sell for better price. You can get quite an amount of gold through this manner.

I had Myles disappear on me once as well. What happened was that I was standing near him (he was not in the party) and dismissed Vi. When I restored from a quick save, both he and Vi had disappeared. Vi turned up back in He'li's place. Eventually Myles turned up back at his usual stomping grounds near the front gate. I don't recall if I left town to the road for sure, but I think that I did.

BTW -- why not keep a series of save games? You get to name them, and they appear to you in time order.

I've dismissed myles on three occasions,each time he later was found near the mook compound.I suggest you look around arnika more before giving up finding him.

yeah i dont understand why people don't keep a series of save games. i have 8/9 pages of save games reverting back to when i first got to arnika (I just got out of trynton for the first time). I labelled them well so i could easily remember what i was doing for each thing.

btw, today i have finished the quest of Destinae Dominus in sea cave,
when i met Marten i tried to attack him
Marten(lvl 38)^^
unbelievably, my Lord used one bit(Instant Death!!) and Mad Marten's gone........
really gone, forever,although he was eternal.(he said so)

these were what i got: 94***Exp, Destinae Dominus, a Key, Death cloak(AC+2, HP Reg-1 )

As CHuskari as mentioned that the main reason he's is getting Myles is for cash and he's planning to save money if he can't get Myles back, I am just only offering him some advice on alternative ways to get $$$.
