Grrr, this game is STILL not out in Europe yet. What an outrage. Don't these people realise that there are other places in the world to sell games then the US? I think i'll boycot this game when it commes out as a silent protest(Talking of which, check my sig and join in). Perhaps i'll get Dungeon Siege instead.

Europe will get final fantasy X in May this year.. Final fantasy XI will be released in Japan BEFORE that..

_*THAT*_ is a travesty of justice!

I think it's more a case of not being able to afford to sell it in Europe. Sir-Tech had a very limited budget when they finally contracted with a publisher and apparently couldn't get a European one, though I did hear they found a Russian one for a limited run.

Heck, there wasn't even any publicity for the game here in the States except word-of-mouth and then when it started receiving all of the awards.

I don't know exactly how the game producer/game publisher relationship works but it seems to me that Sir-Tech got screwed by their publisher all the way around. Unfortunately part of the fallout was that the European fans of the series were left out in the cold unless they wanted to spend extra money importing it from Canada or the U.S.

It is not that expensive about 45 dollars handling and shipping included. The game is worthwhile buying.

I agree with my european comrade. Even though, here too, nobody knows the game's out !.

I got my copy from a Electronics Boutique in Denmark. Do they not have branches in other European contries ?

Sleipnir 03-05-2002 11:59 AM

Hi,

I ordered it from
https://www.interactcd.com/

It still hasn't arrived but i REALLY hope it's there when i come back from work today.
BTW it's not too expensive about $45, in fact it's more expensive to order from England (and it seems out of stock anyway).

There are many fans of the old wizardry series in europe (especially germany and england), it's a real shame they cut us out!!!

I buy my copy from http://www.dragon.ca and i get it in 2 weeks here in Norway after i order the game
