I was wondering what is the limit on skills and are those limits affected by other factors?
For example, I've got a lizardman fighter and the last time he leveled up i was only able to raise his sword skill to 78. it would not allow me to put any more points into it after that. is there something i'm missing? i also have the same problem with my mage, whose wizardry stopped at 75 i think. with the mage, i can understand since that 75 is w/o the 25 percent bonus. right? as for the fighter, his main skill is close combat so the sword skill doesn't get a bonus to it. anyway, does anyone have any thoughts on this?
by the way, my fighter's strenght is 100 already in case that was a limiting factor. is there, perhaps, another attribute that is associated with the sword skill?

As far as I'm aware the limit is 100 but you're not allowed to put more than three points into any skill per level.

Yeah, the limit is 100, but you can't put points into any skill once it reaches 75. The rest has to be done by training...

Never forget your towel, cheers

After a skill hits 75, you can't put points into it on level-up. They must be earned by using them. Skills naturally stop at 100, but can be augmented up to 125 Max from item bonuses.
