I didn't think it could be done! I recruited saxx, dumped him for his equipment and then started to PP him and just got lucky I guess. Now, is there any other unique equipment I could rob from some poor RPC out there? I know there's a Rapax mageblade to be had but, considering its a Rapax only weapon I don't think I'll bother..

yah, sure: There's a link around here somewhere, probly could find it searching under links, they got all the drops and every other list anyone's bothered to make.

Chief Gari has the Chieftain's Scepter, a male-only mace, i forget its stats, just that i didn't use it.
Shaman has Diamond Eyes.
Don Borlone has one of the orbs, and Cane o' Corpus.
Crock has books and gadget parts.
Etc.

Another good way to get the sax, that I always use, is to leave him in front of a hostile creature (I prefer the golem at the bridge), and let the monster kill him.

Here's a way to get whatever item you want off of an RPC without pickpocketing them, killing them or leaving them to be slaughtered in front of a monster:

- recruit the RPC
- go to the RPC's inventory screen
- pick up the item, right-click it onto another character's
inventory
- pick up any item from the party inventory bag
- put it in the RPC's inventory; then pick it up and put it
back in the party's bag
- exit the inventory screen
- dismiss the RPC from the party

Then just pick up the item from the ground =0)

Oops, missing a step there, after doing the part where you give the RPC an item and put it back in the party bag, also you need to go over to the PC's inventory (the one you gave the item to) and pick it up, exit the inventory screen with it, and drop it on the ground.

Ok, I haven't tried this, but I have a question. He get mad if you put the soulfax in anothers inventory, so you can't do that. But can you pick it up, and then while you are holding the sax, dismissing him?

You have to make sure you right-click it on the small char icons in the upper left... it works. Just let that char drop it, and you can pick it up after dismissing the NPC.
