I'm curious what the most profitable potion merging options are. I'm only a couple days into playing the game, so I haven't been able to try a lot of combos. Right now, my best alchemy skill is 30-something, so I might be able to do much either. But knowing is half the battle, right?
So far, the lt. heal + med. heal = hv. heal is pretty nice. It nets about 200gp or so. Lt. heal + posion red. = cure poison doesn't net much at all. Thanks! |
at 15 Alch you can mix m. heal + l. heal for ca. 270 GP
at 20, m. stam + m. heal = pickmeup (70) at 30, l. heal + Poi Reduc = cure poi (40) and stink b. + boom b. = acid b. (225) at 40, h. heal + CLC = cure dis (650) at 50, h heal + cure dis = renew (2750) and flash p. + sneeze p. = pandemon p. (2800) at 95 fire b. + ice b. = canned elmntl (100) Merchants' stocks are renewed every 24 game hours, you can reload the game just before clicking the lips on the merchant if they didn't get what you want (like if you know they can get 15 of something they only got 5 of this time). |
In my experience Flash powder is pretty rare so I would say that you would be making Potions of Renewal more than anything else.
|
Both He'Li and Braffit get Flash. If you reload enough, they'll get'm.
My favorite series is to start with light and mod to heavy, add CLC and then add another l+m=h to make renewal. This earns over 4k total. Braffit can restock l,m,h heal and CLC at 15/day, so you end up buying some heavies to make 15 Renewals out of all that. |
As I read this thread my face twists into a look of confusion!!!!LOL How do you mix potions? What does GP or K mean?? I'm learning everything in wizardry on my own so please HELP!!!
|
Any character with Alchemy skill >14 can mix potions (Alchemist, Ninja, Ranger, Bishop)
Put potion A in an inventory slot of that character, take potion B to the bottom left of the inventory screen and click on the 'Merge' icon (2 arrows curving towards a ball), then click onto potion A. GP means Gold Pieces (in my post assume profit). K means 1,000 (it's abbreviated from 'Kilo-') CLC means Cure Light Condition. |
Thanks! I'm rich now!!!

Eh? Why Thankses!!! I earn my rent teaching swimming, if that helps...

In that case, could you (using ASCII text) show me how to do the butterfly stroke?
