I think its somewhere in Ascension Peak, but can someone describe the exact location plz...coz I can't seem to find it

Also...is there anyway I can get the rod of sprites earlier...help appreciated.

The Rod of Sprites is a drop from Wind (?) or maybe Cloud Sprites, the ones that only exist on Bela's hill and beyond. Like the Sprite's Dagger, it has less chance to drop. More often than *L**S*, though. If you sneak into the MW to get Doom and Winter, you can sometimes catch the right kind of Sprite up on Bela's hill--i got one a while back with a L12 ave party of 4. Just haven't had a Fae for a few games...

It is dropped by crag sprites or perhaps other sprites in Mountain Wilderness and ascension peak. best second weapon for fairy ninja.
It is not difficult to get. If you see some crag sprites, save and kill them, if you can't find a rod of sprites just reload. That does not take so much time.

Well, that's more Sprites than i knew of with them! If i run a Faery ever again, I'll have to remember this, though i think i'm almost done with W-8, on what looks like's gonna be my 17th finisher (Liz Lord, Felpr Bard-to-Sam, Mook Ranger), maybe i'll try that Random Challenge (see 'Toughest Challenge' thread) until i get 20 finishes; that's likely to produce a Faerie. (i won't follow the "challenge"; i'll take what i get and then do what i want with them, that'll be fun. I don't think the challenge is any fun, though; I prefer to have a prepared and developed party as soon as i can, and just mow all the red dots down) Then I'll have to get something else to waste my time. Like finding out how i can get W-7 to run again...

Is the rod of sprites only available in asecnsion peak...OR can it be dropped in the Mountain Wilderness as well.

I am currently lvl 12...and I went to the mountain wilderness...spent hours killing wind sprites and none of them had it.

I cannot find crag sprites...only wind sprites and leaf sprites....I don't really wanna wait until asencion peak to get the rod of sprites, any chance I can get it earlier.

I have spent hours looking...help me b4 i go nuts.

Like they said - it can drop in the wilderness, it's just not commonly dropped. So chances of finding it as loot is rare.

Being lvl 12 you wont meet crag sprites and you so you won't find rod of sprites anywhere. You just have to wait ant level up

Yah, even in Expert mode, you gotta be 14th, i think...that would explain why i thought it was Windies that had it, i'm usually lower the first time i visit Bela, but i haven't tried for the Rod in ages. (gave up Faeries after 5 finishes)

Yah, sorry, i was just up there, my L13 party went to Bela without seeing ANY sprites, then i went to get Doom, and levelled up after killing the Golem, bingo--Wind Sprites! They dropped Fey Ring, another rarity: +4 AC, +10 Speed, +20 Stealth, Cursed (-1 Stamina regen)
