hello all, I have just started W8 but appear to have run into a dead end. I am in the monastery on the level with the bridge which rises. I think I have searched everywhere and I have found two doors which need specific items but can nopt find anything to help. I have talked/traded with the bloke by the waterfall. Any ideas? Thanks.

There is only one door in the lower monastery that needs a specific item, and you will not find that item in the monastery. In the upper monastery, there is one door that requires a key. You will find that key in a chest near the exit.

If you are stuck in the lower monastery, find some wolf spiders, kill them and press the button behind them. That will open a gate.
