just out of curiousity, who or what is nebdar?

Also, how do i get to him/her/it?

Nebdar is a sorceress in the Mountain Wilderness retro dungeon. You need an item to use on a rock in the circle of rune stones to get to the dungeon. She has a powerful amulet you can get, and there are other goodies to be had there. The dungeon is one of the hardest in the game, so don't try it unless you have good armor, magic protections and lockpick abilities. I'd guess higher than lev 13. I just finished it. It wasn't hard at lev 17.

There is one trick I should give you. When you finally get to her room, stand all the way on the right before picking the lock. She won't be able to cast spells on you until she is within melee range!

Funny thing, I just killed her again! In the wilderness area you will find some stones with runes on them. Click on all of these and the stone in the center (canadian spelling)will light up. Make sure you have a long sword to put into the stone. This will create a mushroom teleporter that you step onto. Make sure you are around the mid teens before going in; it's pretty tough!

Farseer, did you get a second amulet and other good stuff? Or was it kinda depleted?

I haven't done any of the retro dungeons in the game. Is it worth going through the dungeons for items? I'm considering them in my next game.

Sorry Ziggy, havn't checked this thread in a while. I did get the Amulet as always and I think a potion or something else. I know it was nothing great. Are you saying you got two Amulets? I'm still trying to remember where I got the darn Sword of 4 Winds.

Ziggy; if I get what you're asking, I meant I killed her again in this new game I just started; not again in the same game. I didn't even know you could do that. Sorry about the mix up.

Hey Gab,
I would do the the retro's everytime. I always do them at different times but I always do them. Some really good Upper and Lower Plate can be found here; a Sword of Fire and other goodies. Plus the extra Exp. has it's value too. The Nebdar combat (including her friends)will net you about 320k in a 6 member party.
