What fabulous luck to report.The very first time I opened the chest in in the centre hut in Bayjin I got both the * light* Sword* and the *light shield at the same time..Moving on to the buckeneers, after many tries I got another * light *sword * .Then Checking my inventory I discovered another * Light Shield * Now I have two of each .Now fur blood and skin is flying,as I slice em And dise em. Is this a record??? BRIAN

Well since I haven't found either of the two consider yourself lucky. Although I never do reloads.

Brian, 2 of each is the most I have heard of. This must be your lucky day. You may want to play some numbers while you're at it. I got the *light* shield a total of twice in many games. Nada on the sword.

I've had two swords, one shield and two Frontier Phasers as my record.

Another good haul with 2 L Swords had a Stave of 12 Stars and a Phaser.

Î really wish I had so much luck finding this weapons . Can't count the times I reached Bayjin and the Bucc's, but in all of the games I never found Lightsword, Lightshield or Excalibur. I do not reload, too.

I've foud excalibur 3 times and the light sword once without having to reload.

I tried to doing the reloading twice in my numerous trips through the game, to try and get light sword and excalibur again but it takes too long and I haven't the time or patience for it so now I do not reload and just take what I'm given.

In my latest game (no reloads), I have three light shields -- and two party members.

Never have had a sniff of a light sword in 9 times through.

You can get a bunch o'bux from Ferro for one of those.
One of my games where i reloaded until i got my Solo a Light Sword from the chest, one dropped first try from the Buccies. I've only ever gotten 4 from the Buccies, 2 of which i reloaded a couple dozen times for.
The chest has taken as many as 25 tries, after which i give up, and has failed about half the time.
Getting a Shield from Jan-Ette has never taken more than a dozen tries, and Phasers come from all three sources much more often.
The first time i tried reloading the Buccies i decided to do it scientifically and list every drop of note, and ended up going 100 times without a Light Sword.
