well i have to say, the good advice from listening to yall has paid off
my liz fighter with SoD, hes mean my mook fighter with a GS, hes mean and hairy thief with bloodlust and thief dagger, hes almost just as good as a fighter FN, you know the drill my other 2 are bishops learning 2 books each, First off, thanks for the great advice on the party this party is hardcore mean, i'm at lvl 12 right now, i've been saving spells on the bishops and only buying books, i got about 6 picks on each of them, as well as all the buffer spells. My question is when do i get the better spells? I remember reading on what lvl the good spells start to come in, just forgot what lvl I have to be. misc questions/ comments I picked up a dead frog, where does he go? can i do all the missions from the T'rang and umpani? I just got some of the items from attone after looking and trying to find them, The custom items ,well, suck. Wish they could have spent some more time on that. |
I often heard of the dead frog. Never found it in all my games. Where is it ?
(I think, you do not mean the dead frog leg for Crock ? ) You can finish both Umpani and T'rang quests at the same time. spoiler . . . . . . . . . . . . . IMO it's best to finish the T'Rang quests first to reduce the chance of being captured. ( I only was captured by the T'rang, not by the Umpani when I played both sides of the fence ). Do NOT finish the final quests ,if you want to go the "alliance" way. When you return to He'Li after you joined both factions she demands money , because she discovered your double-agent status. Money buys silence. I sometimes skip one or two spellpickings. Not more. So I can't help you with that question. no its not a frog leg, its a small dead frog that looks like one of the poison dart frogs, never read anything about it
|
You killed Fuzzfazz? he drops a dead frog, and it's worthless ;)
Bishops start learning lvl 6 spells (those you can't learn from books) at lvl 14. You might want to look at Flamestrykes for more non-spoiler info. Almost all spells at lvl 1-5 can be learned from books, and banish (lvl 6) can be learned from a book as well. |
no i did not kill fuzzfazz, lol no idea where i picked it up at
|
Burz at the monastery has the dead frog. I picked it from his pocket one time. I think it's a joke item, or maybe one of those "unfinished bits" in the game.
As for spells, there is both a minimum level and a minimum skill requirement for learning them. Do check Flamestryke's list so you know what they are. You do best by working for both sides and then getting them to ally at the end. Lots more experience that way.
Nightowl2
|
If you didn't kill Fuzzfazz, the only way i'd see to get one is to pickpocket it from him. Never seen it anywhere else.
|
Burz never has a dead frog. Fuzzfas can be pp'd or killed for it.
|
Had to be Burz. I know I never tried to PP Fuzzy. Of course, its been quite a long time since I did any of that in the game. Burz was my first, ah, customer, and I didn't do any PP after Arnika except Kunar, and I know HE didn't have it.

Burz never has a dead frog. Unless you sell him one, but then you can't PP or kill him for it anyway.
