A Gadgeteer with engineering > 69, a doubleshot crossbow and a light crossbow.

heh and prepare to watch your ammo go down at a frightning rate!

And for the doubleshot crossbow?

Lt Crossbow + Lt Crossbow, Engineering 35. And watch out stamina, too.

Ok another question. I checked with several vendors and could not find light crossbows. Where can I get them in the late game?

Anna sometimes sells them. Not often, mostly you have to rest some periods.
I can't remember, if there is another shop later.

also, you can ... uh "accidentally" kill some Umpani using methods previously discussed. I got several when *for some unknown reason* they just keeled over and died late in the game.
