I did it again. You would have thought I would learn. I went all the way back to the Monastery, fighting my way through the murderous plants and rogues, patting myself on the back for surviving these overly numerous enemies, only to find out I forgot to get the "key". Doh! 2nd time it's happened. I also did the same thing once with the flag and Marten's Bluff. Must be something in the house...a dead frog maybe.

Bugger! I had an experience like that - I spent ages working out which areas I should go to first and finally decided I'd go to the sea caves then to the rapax because then I could pick up the coral and get my ivory blade made and not have to backtrack... do you think I remembered to get the coral? :D

i found myself in your situation also. After treking all the way to the umpani, and then, going all the way to Martin's Bluff, and did i remember to buy the stupid flag? i think not.

I accidentally figured out how to make it impossible to win:
1) Place one of the Objects (i placed the CM, which i get pretty early the way i go) 2) Take the other 2 Objects to the Wilderness Clearing (WC), which will be the Away Camp (AC) because you have 2 of the Objects with you. 3) Put one of the objects in a chest in the AC. (i wanted to put my Infy Helm back on to kill the Rapax, so i dumped the DD) 4) Leave the AC, which will thus revert to being the WC, EVEN IF you reload a save from within the AC when it was still the AC, it will be the WC when you reload the game. And the Object will not exist, just like the chest it's "in". And no, you can't retrieve an Object once it's placed in its Chapel. And yes, that last sentence was an example of the difference between "it's" and "its". |
