I want to download the patch from Baldurdash that gives you the bonus merchants and other stuff, but I want to get ToB soon. Should I download it, or not?( I can't promise myself anything abut getting ToB)

Definitely!
The stuff those guys have is great. But it'll cost mucho cash. Should't be a problem though as theres lots of money to be found in the game.

Game money - not real money.
Most of Dierdre's items average 20-30 thousand gp and Joluv's stuff is in the 30-40k range.

All downloads from Baldurdash are FREE...and despite the arbitrary warning, all patches I've gotten work just fine with ToB installed.
