Should I use Jahiera as a tank? She is currently wearing the Red Dragon Scale Armor and the Ring of Protection +2, at an AC of -9. She is using the scimitar Belm +2, with attack speed 0, and with improved haste mounted on, that's REAL fast. She has 86 hit points. Should I use her as a tank?

Jah makes a decent backup tank. I wouldn't send her into a fight alone but she can stand with the big boys if she has good eq and ironskins

no, I don't have ToB.

I like to use Jah as a tank. She's got the best Dex of any warrior types (I think?) so she can end up with a real low AC. I like to have her cast something Insect Plague right at the beginning of the fight and then have her come in and tank right along with the big boys. Works well :D

I can get both equipped, no problem. I don't have ToB.... perhaps that was changed?

I,m thinking you must have something else magical equipped on your character.One of the reasons I like the Red Dragonscale armor so much is the fact that you can equip items like protection rings and amulets while wearing this particular armor.

ToB fixes the bug whereby the Red Dragon Scale Armour was not flagged as magical armour.

Jaheira makes a decent fighter, especially if you give her the Impaler +3. The damage that that thing deals is obscene.

I remember finding the Impaler in a different life... but don't remember what it does... re-spoil me? It's a spear, right? (I like giving Jaheira the reflection shield from Adventurer's Mart).
