Tasherons bow from merchant in Trademeet is superb, +3,no ammo needed and thieves can use it. Also Heartseeker +3 from Adventurer's mart is superb for fighters etc. Add the bracers of archery +2, and you can will make Robin Hood blush

I don't think there's a killbow01 in BGII, so I think the Short Bow of Gesen is the best bow in the game, or Tasherons Bow.
