Id like to know if anyone out there have installed the official pacth to bg2,and if it has caused any problems??

As to the patch. Didn't load it and I had no problems with the game. I completed every quest I could find and had no problems. I did not use hacked characters, weapons, or spells.

I've been through the game twice without the patch and had no problems. After I installed the patch, I'm still having no problems. Better safe than sorry, I suppose, and the patch is meant to fix up some of the mucked-about rules in the game.

I have a strong suspicion against patches... after all in bg1 all the patch did was remove the ring of wizardry at the friendly arms in and make it impossible to nick drizzts swords..
