Ok so I've done all the Harper stuff
I'm ready to go finish the game how do I trigger Elminster turning up with the Harper Pin?
My reputation has been 20 for most of the game and even got another +1 for something or other.
Ive gone to outside areas, rested but can't seem to get him to show up
Can someone give me some guidlines as to what makes him appear?

I think you have to wait 60 days or somthin like that, but I never really tried it.

And its important that you have Jaheira in your party.
The last time I got it, was after Underdark. I finished all the Harper-quests, and went to the Underdark. When I came back up, Elminster appeared right away.</font>

Ok turns out I'm on day 75 ! (i must have been dragging it out)
I had killed Dermin a fair few days before I went and rescued Imoen as i thought when I get out Id meet Elminster
But nope he hasn't

I see why Jaheria is the most frustrating char to get things out of
quest/romance wise

I found Imoen to be more irritating quest - wise. (Personal bias tho)
