About the vampire at the docks.I fought and won but i got the level drain stuff.What this thing do and how can I get it off.

the level draining just drains you levels (!), if you are a level 10 character for example with the level drain you are level 7-8.

to remove it, cast the restoration cleric spell (lvl 4) or go to a temple and pay for it (just as you do with cure or remove curse)

There is a scroll "restoration scroll", that cures level drain. You can also get rid of it at a temple, or with a priest spell minor restoration or restoration. If you want to protect yourself against leveldrain, then the spell negative plane protection is good. Otherwise there are items out there, that protect against leveldrain.

Also, if you have a berserker, barbarian or Minsc (ranger??) then you can rage/enrage him/her and he/she will be immune to leveldrain for a while.

...another thing, if you don't have the ability to cast restoration yet then I highly recomend that you go steal/buy (steal is preferable ) some restoration scrolls...you will need them!

BTW, you can die if your level drain goes beyond the number of levels you have, ie you are level 10 fighter, get level drained for 11 levels, BOOM dead fighter.

I belive That aran give you a level drai protection Amulet, It only works for one person, but if you do it right youi can use that person to restore all your other drained people.

..more tips, try to get your hands on all "protection against undead" scrolls there are, ther isn´t that many of them in the game and beaware of some bugs with Bodhi if you use them on your main character.

whoa, berserker prevents level drains?!?!, oh how I wished I had known that when I was getting my butt kicked by the mummies and vamps at windspear. I might just go back and give that a shot now
