I see how simple editing of items can be done but I just want to make my main weapon level drain proof so I can battle vamps myself with something other than a mace of disruption +2. I know that the amulet of power potects you from it but I need something for a fighter type. Any suggestions?

You could always just get your cleric to cast negative plane protection on your fighter. That guards against level drain.

I know but I have had that spell expire so many times in the heat of battle and from that point on my main character is fragged. Is there anyway I could make an item that would just give me negative plane protection all the time while equipped?

Well, what do you have in mind? A sword, armour, shield? Tell me what you mind and I'll get it done as an early X'mas present fer you.He he he..

Well, I guess I'd like a scimitar. Is there any easy way you could tell me how you make an regular +2 weapon into one that would have extraordinary powers like LD proofing? If so I'd love to know how to do it myself.

Anybody else?

Hmm... I've got something like that lying around somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Here goes. I'm assuming your Christmas present hasn't arrived yet. It does weird things occasionally but it works. If you want to do some editing you should download the Infinity Engine Editor from TeamBG's website. If you're planning on editing already existing items you'll need a biff extractor (?) too.

Khellendros click here for some links to some customizing tools.

I found this on the SAME page as where your post was by the way...
