So after a few re-loads, I managed to kill the Shadow Dragon. I got the note for the Dwarven Hammer and some shadow scales.

Any idea what the shadow scales are for? I'm assuming they are used to make some armor/shield but haven't seen any notable blacksmiths yet.

Anyone know?

I don't mean to be an ass, but... RTFM: Read The freakin' Manual. Btw, it's pretty nice armor. It works like studded leather so thieves can use it. Cromwell the Dwarf can craft some for you in the Dock District.
