Within the game itself you should find the manual.

C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA

It's a file called "Baldur's Gate 2 Manual.pdf"

You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to use it, but it's identical to the manual itself. Of course since you've got the UK version your Adobe file may contain the UK manual, but it's worth checking on.
