Wow...my first post.
Anyways, in the temple of Amaunator you find the journal of a guy who talks about a cache of money that he left somewhere at the base of a pile of boulders in a copse of trees. I assume he means one of the stacks at the bottom of the temple ruins map, but I've looked and looked and can't find anything. Is there actually a cache somewhere? Or did they throw in that journal to give you a reason to look at the bottom part of the map?

Hey welcome aboard, Unfortunatly unless your main character is a ranger there's nothing you can do with this note. If you are a ranger take the ranger stronghold and complete the quest.
