Maybe i'm a dunce.. but can someone help me out.

Does Imoen have the ability to cast any spells? I'm in the very beginning.. and it doesn't seem like she can? Also... can anyone else learn spells? Doesn't seem to be able to? I'm in the first level part two. And my other characters don't seem to have anyability to MEMORIZE spells? Only Emoen could.. and now she's gone I'm a Human Fight and none of the scrolls let me memorize them. Is this normal? Thanks for any help.

Imoen's a thief/mage. She can't cast spells when she's wearing armour, same as any other mage, but otherwise she can. Only a mage can memorise spell scrolls. You probably ought to take a look at the manual.

Yes, Imoen can cast spells, but not any, she has to learn them first.
Not anyone can learn spells, they must be mages in order to script spells into spell book, cleric learn theirs by default when they level up.
Fighters are not suppose to learn spells, you are expert in weapon combats. But a fighter dual class to a mage can learn spells.

Ehm Accord if i'm correct Imeon starts out with minor spells like magic missle and stuff

Just remove the armor add some water and voila Instand Mage
BTW why o you want imoen to use spells
if there is one thing i can recommend than it is making a 5 mages and 1 cleric party
thus you don't need imoen in the start
and you still have 5 mages
