The monk they get quivering palm,stunning blow,AC bonus's every so many levels,immunity to poison and disease, speed bonus,hide in shadows and detect traps and there is more but i have forgotten them right now.

I agree with Lucre, the monk is the best.
One ability he forgot was after lvl 20 normal weapons no longer hurt them.

Try fighter-mage ... the best multi class. i am level 17-17 and I killed a dragons alone. with 7 attacks, improved haste, mantle, stone skin ...... Nothing can hurt me!

Monks are nice too,

Invisebilety, Blade Barrier
Summon fire elemental, holy samite, sunray, harm
