What is it... where can i put items I might need in the future, but don't need them all the time.
I thought that stronghold is where I could put them, but I don't know where it is for paladin

I did not play a paladin so I am not sure. However i believe you can put your items in any chest, barrell, table etc that you find. If however you just put them on the ground they will disappear. As for the strongholds i played a figter/mage and got The D'arnise keep. I thought it was over rated. I could have been just as happy without a stronghold. It did not appear to have any super advantages except the ability to get a little gold by taxation.

Unfortunately, unlike what your paladin supervisor said, you cannot store or rest in your "little" stronghold room. Just do what Raistlin suggested, store it in a chest or table/shelf, as long as you don't put the item on the ground, everything should be ok. As for the fighter's stronghold, you get LOTS of experience at the end of the last stronghold quest....and also you have to spend LOTS of money for some side-quests...
