I'm having trouble with the pipes riddle. I know that the order is
pipe 1 - ring
pipe 2 - blood
pipe 3 - hand
pipe 4 - staff

I had collected all items and give 1 item to 4 different characters and have them go to the pipes in the order above. First it displays the scrathings on the pipe then I click again and get hit with lightning. What am I doing wrong? Another idea I had was the following order
1st go to pipe #3 with hand
2nd go to pipe #2 with blood
3rd go to pipe #1 with ring
4th go to pipe #4 with staff

please help...

Try putting them on one character, then proceed with the following order...

From the left,

It should work.
