I stole the amulet from the weathermistress, gave it to Mae'var and he sent me to see Edwin. Edwin says I must kill Rayic. Every time I go to Rayic's building, the door is locked and I can't get in. How am I supposed to kill him if I can't even get in the door? HELP!

Usually after Edwin tells me to do the "deed" the door will be unlock, either:
1) the game has a bug
2) you are at the wrong door, it is the house north of the Harper's hold.

I am in the Dock District, lower left hand side. There is a guard standing outside. Is this not the place? There is also the place north of here, but not on ground level. For some odd reason, I can't get my party there. They get stuck on the roof. How do I get to where I need to be?

The building that you are talking about is the Harper Hold (Galvery Estate, or something like that, check the map), that is not the place where the Cowled Wizard is staying at. It is the house north of the Harper Hold, your target is on the 3rd floor. The Cowled wizard's place has a fence in front of the door and the door should be WIDE open.

Sounds to me like you're outside the Harpers base,try the next door up.

look on your map, and it will say rayic <last name> house, if you have the flags on.
