This is the group that I currently have

Krystal Klear 10th Archer
Jaheira 9/12 Fighter/Druid
Keldorn 10th Inquisitor
Viconia 10th Cleric
Naila 10/4 Mage/Thief
Aerie 9/10 Cleric/Mage

This is what I was thinking about doing. When I rescue Imoen, I was going to swap her for Naila. Imoen has better Thief stats and is a pure mage now. Also was thinking about swaping Aerie for Mazzy. The more that I think about that one though I think the Aerie is good to have. On the other hand I feel that I could use another fighter type. My archer is good. She averages 14 damage a hit with the bow that she is using. ( that is with normal arrows ). She is using the Heatseeker Bow and is a master archer ( 5 stars ). On the other hand she can duel weild as a ranger. Only 2 of my party members have a negative AC. Jaheira has a -3 and Viconia has a -7. I can't seem to find anything better but I am not starting chapter 2. The only reason that Viconia Ac is so low is she has a mace that giver he 18 Str which allows her to were any armor.

Just looking for some thought on what I was thinking of doing. Or any ofter suggestions.

I have had great success (finished the game with no cheats) with this party:
Me: Conjurer
Minsc with 2 weapons (flail of Ages, frostreaver axe off hand)
Valygar with 2 weapons (his namesake sword in off hand, Celestial Fire)
Jaheira with druid staff from bonus guy in Copper Coronet
Aerie with staff of fire/sling
Nahlia (replaced by Imoen) bow +1
Valygar is better than Keldorn. With him and Minsc at the front, it's a lot of fun. Happy Gaming!

I think that considering you already have a pure Cleric and a good mage(Nalia),if you want another fighter then lose Aerie and get Minsc.Aerie IS very useful i know but is neither a fantastic cleric OR mage because she levels up slower.
Mazzy is great with a bow,but so is Krystal.Minsc however can use a longbow,duel wield,has priest spells,goes berserk,and can use stealth.
so if you need a fighter type then Minsc is your choice.

P.S. your party seems to be good aligned, may want to consider keeping Aerie and dump Viconia. Like many cases, you only need a decent character of particular class, you don't need to have the best.

Viconia and Keldorn have already tryed to kick eachother butt once. It was sorta funny to listen to.

Yeah,maybe dumping Viconia is the better option.Her and Keldorn will not last.One of them will leave sooner or later,either that or one will kill the other.
