I was in the guarded compound and after the first fight my main char lost: Travlers robe fire res ring and protection cloak. was there a monster there that can destroy items or was that a bug?

Are you talking about the building in the temple district??

Yes in the tempel district.

I guess that was a work of a summoned Nishruu.. ..but I don't think you have the latest patch. Nishruu's (and few other monsters like that?) are only supposed to drain some charges from wands and get a spell or two from mage's memory, not leave them only with their underwear (someone correct me if I'm wrong with this, I'm not sure).

The latest patch is going to fix that little detail.

I dont think it should be a patch issue. I installed the latest patch before I started this game. ah well guess ill have to continue on without those items. Was just wondering if I should watch out in the future for those beasties. I live off or quick save so I saved it after fight before I relized that the items where gone. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/frown.gif

Yeah I've had this. It's definitely the work of a Nishruu and even though they're only meant to drain wands and steal spells they will happily have your robes, rings and even magical weapons. My game is patched but it still happens, you've just got to be extra careful and check your inventory after a punch up.

this is where shadow keeper comes in handy. if items disapear then i put them back. what gets on my nerves is when a character dies while he's standing behind a door. and drops all his stuff. then when i raise him and have him go to pick it up i cant get the cusor to change to pick crap up, because the door is in the way.

If in doubt, have the Nishruu fight your summoned critters (they don't usually have items) and Chromatic Orb the blighter
