I am currently in the underdark and i gave a Drow plate +5 to Valygar... and i was able to equip him wif the Aromor...

do u think this is a bug or does this happen???

VALYGAR WEARING A PLATE ARMOR??? WAT WILL HE THINK AND DO NEXT???

I WAS AMAZED AS HIS AC WENT TO -8... but since he was not wearing leather he was not able to hide in shadows... well u cant get everything perfect...!

Drow PLate +5 seems much more versitile than regular full plate mail. I had a barbarian wearing it too IIRC.

Infinty Explorer says only Bards, druids, Mages, thieves and combinations thereof can NOT use the drow plate +5.

They probably made the Drow+5 available to more classes so that your party wouldn't get totally slaughtered down there. It makes the Underdark more survivable and less aggravating, but since the stuff's made of adamantine, having +5 plate won't affect the rest of the game.
