Hey all,

The old board had a warning about an email going around with "Snow White and the 7 Dwarves" (or variationts thereof) as the subject and an attachment. The warning said this thing was/is a "worm virus." Many thanks to Ziroc for that warning because guess what I got yesterday. It was from "HaHaHa." Because I don't know enough about computers to safely try and track this stuff, I simply deleted it, (without opening it) after running Norton anti-virus (detected nothing), and did a general cleanup of my temporary internet files, cookie sweep, etc.

Better safe than sorry; forewarned is forearmed; don't run through the house with scissors and if sex is a pain in the derierre, you are probably doing it wronghttp://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...miles/wink.gif

Thanks, again Ziroc.

VIRUS ALERT!!!!!!!! DO NOT! open any emails from "hahaha@sexyfun.net" in the emails from him/her you will find the following attachments: "dwarf4you.exe" , "midget.scr" & "joke.exe" All of these are viruses and attach themselves to your emails.

Found this on my travels. Thought I'd start with something usefull for my first
message. They're some of the variants.

Life, don't talk to me about life.

Anti-virus with updates later than Sept. 25 2000 should handle this. See the link below for full write-up

the best way to stay protected is:
1) keep your antivirus software updated
2) keep your antivirus software running
3) be smart about email. especially attachments
