I'm sure this has already been discussed 4,125 times on this board. I was wondering what types of characters everyone has (or would have) in their full party (on multiplayer, without npc's). I've been thinking about playing the game without npc's.

Here is mine:
Berserker/mage (dual) Berserker/mage (dual, low level berserker) Kensai/thief (dual) Ranger/cleric (multi) Paladin (either undead hunter or cavalier) Sorcerer ------------------ Long live H22A1!!!!! |
playing without any npc's gets really boring. even with just 2 npc's its kinda borring. my preferance is 3 people of my design and 3 npc's which may change throughout my play.
what alignment do you want to play? ------------------ http://www.angelfire.com/games3/slac...ges/MSKBSD.gif |
This is my opinion...
*Paladin (for the high charisma) *Berserker *Cleric (a kit is preferable) *figther/druid (for the insect plague) *thief (bounty hunter) *mage (Edwin is preferable, he can cast more spells) But, it is your choice. I'm not a fan of multi and dual classing. |
Fighter/mage/thief (multi) can go upfront, detecting traps, stealthy spell attacks ect,can use most any weapon, good HP.
Ranger/cleric (dual at 10),can wear full plate ,restricted to cleric weapons, but can cast ALL DRUID and Cleric spells. (you dont need a druid for Insect plague). This party gives you a bit of everything with only two characters, others can be added when you both level up a bit. |
Well i play with a 5 mage 1 cleric aprty but that is not the best
lemme see Paladin (pref. Inquisitor but all kits are great) Ranger/Cleric (dualled from ranger to cleric you'll get all the spells) Sorcerer (give him/her a change and he/she will turn out to be GREAT) specialist mage (Conjurer or Necromancer to give you more spells) Kensai/Mage (ever special dual combo) (Accord likes bezerker mages more) Fighter/Assassin (dualled from Fighter not a legit Class - Assassin benefits most from leveling up) You have three mages my robe suggestion is Kensai/Mage - Robe of Apprenti Sorcerer - Robe of Good/Neutral Arch magi + amulet of power Specialist mage - Vacna's Robe ------------------ http://content.communities.msn.co.uk...&ID_Message=66 All Hail the Seventh house Sorcerer Master Magician of Necromancy Prince Rikard T'Aranaxz of Natri'x Clanmaster and Mental Father of the OHF Ramanish of Neathan'Calith High Priest and son of the Eternal Phoenix Shadowlord of the Silver Shield Baron of Yusliks Duke of Gerdran Duke of Tralixz Lord and General of the Army of the West AND!!! thus you level up faster And the fighter part isn't really needed ------------------ http://content.communities.msn.co.uk...&ID_Message=66 All Hail the Seventh house Sorcerer Master Magician of Necromancy Prince Rikard T'Aranaxz of Natri'x Clanmaster and Mental Father of the OHF Ramanish of Neathan'Calith High Priest and son of the Eternal Phoenix Shadowlord of the Silver Shield Baron of Yusliks Duke of Gerdran Duke of Tralixz Lord and General of the Army of the West AND!!! Getting too tank heavy makes it hard fighting a mixed gtroup of adventurers. My mage-heavy party had to be very careful early on. Here is my preferred:
1 Tank (Paladin or Fighter) - this guy gets the best armour/CON/DEX score 2nd Tank (someone who attacks the flanks. Either 2-weapon or 2-hander Fighter/Cleric or Fighter/Druid Mage/Thief (or Mage/Cleric if you went for Fig/Druid earlier) Thief or Thief multi-class Pure mage (specialist for preference) > This way I always have at least 1 cleric (for turning), 2 healers and 2 mages (3 if the Thief was a Mage/Thief) |
