. . . . . . . . . . Ok in the temple area there is that room that is guarded or whatever. And when you first walk in the two mages tell you to leave or else... blah blah, well i went back in and fought a bunch of crap. some big thing that killed minsc but whatever. When i go upstairs they are there. This big thing, two mages, a fighter, and a theif that backstabbed me cuase it was hidden in shadows when i entered room. Suffice to say they raped me bad. Any ideas of how to defeat them or who they are anyway. I just wanted to look around and they killed me whole party =( quintiple backstab damage hurts =( Any comments or questions is appreciated... |

Ok try speed everyone and strenghten them... have some good weapons equipped.. have jaheira cast the antimagi spell (dont know the name) on the mages and cast some magicmissiles and maybe a cloudkill run in to the nearest room and take em one by one

It's a hard battle but it's well worth it for the magical iteams...... (theres a very good Katana). You might want to buy some protection from magic scrolls from the Adventurers Mart. Give 1 to your main leader and that should keep him safe from magic. Have one of your characters cast Oracle as this will stop thieves from hiding in the Shadows and backstabbing you.

Use Jaheira's summon insects and insect plague on the mages and take the fighters one by one.
