You are given a set of fake eggs in Ust'Natha so that the demon will eat the matron and Phaere can then take over. What I did was give her Solaufein's fakes and returned Adalon's eggs. But what happens if you let Phaere sacrifice the real eggs?

The demon will reveal your true "form", needless to say, it HAS to be punish for that. Your drow girl friend will turn hostile. THe whole drow city goes berserk on your party. WHen you reach the Silver Dragon, she will be VERY upset, and you will have to dispose of her in order to leave Underdark legitly. That's all.
Btw, I think you can also expose Pheare's plans to Matron Mother or give the real eggs to the demon after it killed both the Matron and daughter. Heehee....the opportunities of evil.......
