For some reason, I cannot get the Harpers Quest. I do remember picking up a dead body (which I now understand needs to be brought to Rylock at the Docks), but unfortunately I lost it somewhere. I probably was carrying it in my bag of holding, which as you know, things can disappear when they feel like it. Anyway, here's my question. Can I not get the Harpers quest because of the lost dead body? I also have tried sleeping the in the wilderness as some people have suggested, but Jaheira is never taken hostage. Is there a special place for this to happen?

I think it's random which wilderness that happens in. I had it occur in the Grove once. Next time, it was sleeping in the Temple Ruins forest. As well as the sleeping, you need to do the Xzar/Montaron quest for which you need to return that body you had

Thanks. Sounds like the quest is gone now, doesn't it? I even tried using the cheat and putting the dead body in my inventory, but when I try to talk to Rylock at the Docks, he won't take it.
