Does anyone know if there's any difference between a sorcerer with 18 INT and one with 19 INT? Will I have extra spells?

You get a bonnus 1lv and 4th spell on top of other bonnuses plus you can memorise any spells without having to drink an inteligence potion.

I thought Charisma was the most important attribute for Sorcerers?

Charisma is SUPPOSED to be what determines a sorcerer's power, but I guess BGII isn't up on all the new D&D rules. NWN will, however.

or they wanted to keep the programing down to a simpler level. why re-invent the wheel?

For mages, an INT of 19 means that they can have ALL the spells in their spellbook. Anything less limits this amount. I don't recall it bothering my sorceror as he couldn't learn from scrolls anyway

This is for Wisdom not Intelligence http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...miles/wink.gif

For a 19 int (vs. 18) you get a 95% chance of memorizing a spell (vs. 85%), you can memorize any number of spells/level (vs. 18 spells/level) and you get a +12 lore bonus (vs. +10)
