Why?

hm 40-60 playing maybe, but i'm playing BG scince before christmas now and I intend to do all the sidequests (lvl 14 already and im just in chapter 2) I think i've spend about 100 hrs already (I have held some BG2 marathons, playing 5 hrs - lunch - another 5 hrs... I think i'm addicted..

The reason i asked is that i have been playing on an off since Christmas. I love the game and admit i'm not trying that hard. However i was talking to a guy on a forum that said he completed it in 40 (including side quests) hours without trying and that you would have to be daft to spend 200 hours completing it. I'm really enjoying playing it slowly
