You're thinking of Draconis (Dragon Bhaalspawn) i believe.

Sir Exxon - why not kill the red dragon in the Githyanki section of WK???

Tormentor 01-21-2002 04:03 PM

how do you kill them anyway?

Morgeruat 01-21-2002 04:46 PM

hit them hard and take out their magical defenses, several people have already posted dragon slaying walkthroughs, try a search

Glorfindel 01-21-2002 08:26 PM

ok heres all the dragons that I encountered, Alignment and all, I havent bothered to add the HP... much to much effort

<H1><font color="red">SoA:</font></H1>
1st: Thaxll'ssillyia, CE(Shadow Dragon in the Temple Ruins, probably the easiest dragon to kill)
2nd: Firkraag, CE (Red Dragon in the Windspear hill ruins, not very hard to find him, probably 2nd hardest fight in the game, when he does the right attacks that is)
3rd: Adalon, LG ( Silver Dragon in the Underdark, quite a hard battle but I recommend not killing her if you are good.)
4th: Nizidramanii'yt, CE(Black Dragon on the platform on the outskirts of Suldanessellar, a dificult battle if you get caught in the plant growth and the Insect plauges tear you apart)
5th: Dragon (The Bravery test in Hell, not a particularly dificult Dragon, but has come nice scrolls on his body)

<H1><font color="red">ToB:</font></H1>
6th: Draconis, NE (The hardest Dragon in the game IMO, Brown Dragon found at the start of Abizgal's Lair in human form)
7th: Yellow Dragon, CE (Found guarding Abizgals throne room, can be avoided through freedom means, I have never fought her so i dont know how hard she is)
8th: Abizgal, LE ( Blue Dragon found i heart of Abizgal's Lair, surprise surprise , I personally found this fight more difficult than Draconis with the Improved Bhaalspawn patch IMO)
9th: Purple Dragon, LE (One of Abizgals helper Wyrms with the Improved Bhaalspawn patch)

<H1><font color="red"> Watcher's Keep </font></H1>
10th: Saladrax (Red Dragon below the Githyanki level of the Lum the Mad's Machine (4th Level) Exxon recommended not to fight this Dragon, I disagree, he is quite powerful but still has the Staff of the ram +4, which when upgraded can be a VERY powerrful weapon for a mage when forced into Melee.)
11th: Dragon (The dragon that is part of the tests in the 5th level of Watchers keep, not very hard at all to defeat if you are near the 8 000 000 XP cap)

And thats all I can think of, these are the 11 that I have encountered and I have killed them all (Exceot for the Yellow Dragon) and they are all great fun to fight.

Hope thatz what u were lookin 4.... cause it took me a while to find the info out :D :D :D :D

Just as a note: the rule of thumb with Dragon alignments is that Chromatic ones (that is, colored, like white, green, red etc) are evil, Gemstone dragons are neutral (amethyst, etc), and Metallic ones (silver, gold, etc) are Good. That's drawn out in much more detail in Morgeruat's post

Glorfindel 01-22-2002 01:43 AM

Which is strange y they put that in the manual.... casue there is only 1 good Dragon in the entire BG series
