Does anyone know why Druids can only be multi/dual classed as Fighter/Druids? I could have sworn that Half-Elves could be Druid/Mages. My dream class would be a Druid dualed to a Mage at 14.

Druids can't duel class. The only thing you can do is that multi class of druid/fighter

If you check out page 49 of your manual you will see the only dual classes available Though I think new ones have been created - not sur of this). Bards,Sorcerers and Paladins can't dual or multi either. In some cases Race determines class, as well.

Actually, page 235 of the manual (USA version at least) implies that half-elves can also be druid/mages and fighter/mage/druids. Unfortunately, you can't believe everything you read. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif The manual has several inaccuracies in it, and these two multi-/dual class combinations were never included in the game.
BTW, Druids CAN dual class to and from fighter. |
I knew much of what was mentioned. What I meant was, is this a viable combination in pnp 2ED rules?
|
Couldn't tell you, mate http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif I stopped playing PnP D&D at about the same time they tossed the 1st ed. rules over for the 2nd ed. Sorry.

MM Well Technically I would think any race that could be a cleric either single or multi-class/dual class should be able to be a druid if True Neutral.
When I was a dungeon master in D$D I let anyone who could play a cleric play a druid if they were true neutral. Course the game is a bit different. |
