Hello Fellow Gamers,

I get nailed by that energy drain from Vampires but don't understand what it does to me or how to cure (remove that goofy symbol). Also, any spells to protect against it?

Can someone shed a little light here?

If you have a cleric they can cast negative plane protection. This will prevent you from getting drained. Restoration or greater restoration spells will cure the level drain. A cleric can do this or you can get it done at a temple (for a price)

A Restoration spell or scroll will do the trick, or you can get the Restoration from a temple.

Another way to remove it (this does not work with your main character) is to kill the person that has the level drain yourself. Then raise'm from the dead.
If you are playing a barbarian, they have the ability to rage. I believe this protects them from level drain.
