I didn't know you could run Baldur's Gate II ( and many other games ) without the CD. On website www.gamecopyworld.com there are many patches available. You must have the full install though. But it's nice not to have to change cds to start a different game.
Kinda off the topic, but I found it beneficial. |
Yep, it is. Must admit I never really used it, but that's mostly because my harddisk is hardly big enough to run a normal install, let alone a full install... ;)
But I would use it if I was able to. The BG series CD-ROM's are all of a more or less crappy quality, hardly any of my original BG1 CD-ROMs is still working for example, thank God I made backup copies of it... :( [ 01-23-2002: Message edited by: Grojlach ]</p> |

Has anyone attempted to use the No-CD patch on a full SoA/ToB install? None of the no-CD downloads at the website even mention ToB, which is significant.
|
fable, you have to search for Throne Of Bhall seperatly from SoA. it has its own no-cd crack, which works just fine im happy to say. i use it extensively. you dont need to bother with the SoA section if you have ToB.
NB any third-party exe modifications will likley screw up this crack. AFAIK, there arent any but vaskez was talking about creating one a fw months back so be careful. |
