Well... i got this problem involving whining Aerie (she's cute, and pretty helpful sometimes, so i won't kick her out), cos she can't learn any spells of a certain level (fireball level)... She can't learn fireball cos of that, so i definitely need an intelligence thingie which makes her intelligence higher... HELP!!!

Yes she can. Fireball is a level 3 spell. First spell I bought for her was fireball so I could wipe the adventurers in Inn in Promenade. Maybe she can't learn the spell because you have reached the LIMIT of how many spells she's allowed. Try a Potion of Genius or Mind Focusing for that

ehmm... yes i mean the limit thingie! Will the mind focussing thing work for ever, or will she lose the spell after the potion has worn out?? Isn't there a hat of intelligence, for instance??? Or a ring??

you can create a ring to increase INT to 18 when worn, but that sounds kinda weird... i could learn lvl8 spells w/ her and i didnt have to use a potion.

i hate creating items, cos you won't have the original game anymore... won't do that.. sorry, but thanks anyway..

If you're really that bothered just use Shadowkeeper.

I know its a bit of a cheat but what I'd do is edit out one of her third level spells with Shadowkeeper and then learn fireball. You *could* just edit in fireball but personally when I do edit my characters I try to keep it as "natural" as possible.

Well, if you're willing to cheat you can give her a tome of intelligence using the create Items cheat I think the code is BOOK06. I know these are from BGI but they still seem to work in number 2. Or, you can edit her profile using the shadowkeeper utility. Otherwise, there's not a great deal you can do with her. This is exactly why she didn't last very long in my party.
