Belm increases your number of attacks by one right? What if you are using it in your off hand, does it increase your primary hand's attack by one?
|
Yes this is true try it with a Kensai doing naturally 4 attacks per round + belm = 5 attacks and then improve haste him = 6 attacks per round with Kai on you have a monster.

MM actually I think it increases the number of attacks with that weapon only, no matter the hand.
Thus if you had a katana +3 in your fighting hand, and Balm in your off hand, and you normally get 4 attacks (3 with primary, 1 with balm), you would get 5 attacks (3 with primary, 2 with balm). SO it doesn't speed up your primary weapon, but I believe you get an extra attack with Balm. There are a couple weapons like this. |
I'm not really sure. If you look at the files in IEEP, it just changes the attacks per round on your character. I know that if you cheat a Belm into each hand, yopu still only get one extra attack.

Belm hands you an extra attack, but when weilding it in the off hand the extra attack is done with the right one. So put the more powerful weapon in the main hand, even if belm cannot hit an opponent, like this you can (sort of ) attack with it through the one that can.

Is there any way to get Belm, apart from the limited wish quest?
|
i think you can just go to that location and pick it up, w/o the lit wish quest.

Belm is in the tower regardless of the quest. I know, 'cause I've always just killed those mercs instead of running around yacking to monsters. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

AH, thats good to know that Belm and such weapons increase your primary weapon. I didn't know that ( I never use them really). Kinda silly, but hey, if it works, why not.
