UD - Underdark. ok. so i cleared the ilithid and the beholder's lair as the imprisioned mage's quests. Now a couple of questions.

1 - I went all way through UD but i can't see any other entrance besides the ones above. Where should i go? There's still 2 quests to be acomplished: Tracking Irenicus and The missing boy.

2 - What to do with the Light gem?
3 - What to do with the Beholder thing eye?

In the mage's quest, if i kill him after getting the items he gives me, can get the other magic items he got? (I'm planing on doing it with my next evil party).

Top right of the map....over the bridge...to the right....tunnel that u may not have noticed leads to drow city.
Light gem used to get into silver dragons lair....near the tunnel mentioned above.
Beholder's eye will be used later...

Take those items to the drow city. To the Temple of Lolth in the far right
corner of the city. Possibly to where Phaere is in the Female Training Grounds.

There are 5 areas that the main underdark cavern leads to. To the West is another cavern that leads to the surface exit that contains beholders, kuotoans, some other creatures.
To the south is the beholders also.
To the SE is the Mind flayer entrance I believe
To the NE across the bridge is the Drow City, and also another path to the Silver dragon.

About the missing boy..around the middle of the screen you'll see a strange..roundish object that looks like a metal soccer ball. If you actually pass your cursor over it, you'll find that it can be used.

Be prepared for a fight, but don't give up till you can't use the ball anymore. The boy won't be the first thing that comes out of that sphere.

Why?

And about the mage..You can actually pickpocket him for all the items, or you can just threaten him to give you all the items he got. I pickpocketed him first, then threatened him for the rest of the items and he "gave" me scrolls and items that were already in my inventory through pickpocketing so either way works. Use the second option would be my suggestion. Pickpocket does'nt work all the time and there's a lot of things to pick.
