Do you have to accomplish the missions given to you anytime in the game before a certain time? I just picked up a comp. person to add to my group and they said something like I have to get to de 'Arnise Hold very quickly to accomplish helping her. Can I take my time in getting there? Thanks

Welcome to the Board!

There is no real rush to get to most NPC's side-quests. This is to say that no matter how long you take getting to the D'arnise keep, it will be waiting there to be done. However, the NPC will complain and torment endlessly until you go do their quest (especially that violent little dwarf Korgan.)

Later in the game there will be quests that you MUST accomplish in the alotted time or you're screwed.

Is Korgan a bad party member to have in the party?

while you can take your time on most quests, some that are initiated by party member npc's DO have a limit or their complaining will eventually give way to them leaving your group.

Welocme to the Board!

Korgan is a good tank, however with a good-aligned party there may be some personality problems later on. Same goes with the other evil NPCs - Edwin in particular.

Nalia left me because I grabassed around too long. But I just went there and there she was waiting.

What about the book of Kaza that Korgan asks for. I hauled butt to get to the tombs and the book was gone, then went straight back to the house in the Temple District where it was supposed to have been. I was told it was too late and there was no way to get the book.

Korgan once told me that Shagbag and his mangy fleabitten goons would be livin the high life pon the roof of the Copper Coronet.

Sometimes however Korgan finds it fit to say naught aboot the matter.

Personally, I only let Korgan tag along for long enough to get his damned book. The problems between him and my Inquisitor companion didn't even have to surface before I knew they would occur...thus I accompanied him to his tomb, chased his former thieving companions, disposed of them...then disposed of Korgan.
