this is probably more opinion than anything else, but is it better to use Minsc with the 2 swords or with one greatsword? And which swords are the most appropriate?

Rightnow he uses Daystar and Dragonsbane(thik thats the name) together, any criticism?

<font color="gold">There is no such thing as Greatswords in BG2, but Longswords. I assume you meen these.
Now, Minsc is very powerful with the sword syou have equipped him with, but I have always looked on Minsc as a two-handed sword-guy.

i have keldorn in the group also and he uses Coramyr (2 h sword)
Minsc has the option of using the (flame of the north- 2 h sword)is that the right name?

should i go with this sword or maybe one of the longsword i already posted? Not sure if 2 sword fighting is all its cracked up to be?

I go two ways with Minsc...

I eventually get him Warblade+4 and let him go to town

OR

Because he sarts w/ mace and two weapon style.. I make him into my omnigolembashersupreme... between these two weapon styles, Minsc walked through elf town by himself, only needing the rest of the party for the rakshana(sp?)

Warblade? where can you find that?
what maces did you originally equip w/ him?

ahhh gotta think now... Warblade+4 can be bought from adventurers mart after you come out of the underdark... I am pretty sure its in his 'special wares' section... mace of disruption is an easy mace to get early on in the game.. just grab it from the pool of blood in bohdi's lair sometime in Chapter 2 while none of the vamps are hostile to you.. and you can buy a +1 or +2 mace around town I am sure... I am trying to remember the other magical mace I gave him, I got it about halfway through the game but I cant remember its name for the life of me

Actually, I found Warblade +4 in the Underdark, near the exit to the Underdark...

what is the warblade +4, and what does it do?

Two handed sword+4 does 1d12+4 damage per hit!
good choice for minsc.
Personally I give him the Vorpal sword with the wave as a backup should he want a +4 weapon to hit.

where can i find the second part of the vorpal sword?
i got the first from Saemon HAevarian? now i'm in underdark and i just left the illithids...the githyanki are outside and want it back but i haven't fought them yet...?
